Since 2015, we have completed more than 15 projects for Harvard related to sexual misconduct and inclusion and belonging.
Getting college students’ attention is not easy.
For a Harvard campaign to better understand campus sexual misconduct via participation in an anonymous survey, D&CO did not use photographs. Instead, we designed a series of bold, text-only posters featuring evocative headlines and placed them throughout campus — including bathrooms. It was the words, and their unexpected placement, that received attention. Survey response was overwhelming as the campaign illuminated the under reporting of sexual misconduct.
We were honored to design a Harvard publication focused on inclusion and belonging among University students, faculty, and staff. Working closely with community stakeholders, we designed the task force’s final report, an 82-page book that documents process and communicates goals and recommendations. Bold graphics and clear information graphic diagrams illustrate key findings in simple and concise terms.
