Angier Elementary School Receives National Blue Ribbon Award

Newton’s Angier Elementary School has been recognized by the U.S. Department of Education as one of nine schools in Massachusetts this year that earned a National Blue Ribbon Award. This award is conveyed on schools that display exemplary teaching and learning practices, thus serving as models for education nationwide. Angier principal Orla Higgins Averill attributed the school’s solid and supportive learning environment to a strong, warm, and collaborative culture.

DiNisco is proud to have been the designer of the Angier Elementary School, completed in early 2016, for which we worked closely with Newton Public Schools to develop the school’s educational program that then translated to future school projects.
