In 2009, the Town of Dunstable erected a granite monument dedicated to the minute men and Revolutionary War soldiers from town to accompanying the other war memorials sited on the green in front of the town hall.
Its inscription reads:
DEDICATED TO THE DUNSTABLE MINUTEMEN
AND REVOLUTIONARY WAR SOLDIERS
1775—1783
THIS MONUMENT SERVES AS A REMINDER OF THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION
AND THE SACRIFICES OF THOSE WHO MADE THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICAN POSSIBLE.
THEY PLEDGED THEIR LIVES, THEIR FORTUNES, AND THEIR SACRED HONOR.
LET NOT TIME DIM THE GLORY OF THEIR DEEDS
FREEDOM IS NOT FREE
LET US NEVER FORGET OUR SACRED DUTY
TO DEFEND AND PRESERVE OUR FREEDOMS FOR THE GENERATIONS TO COME.
