Since beginning her wedding photography business in 1997, Genevieve de Manio has quickly become one of Boston’s preeminent wedding photographers, earning Boston Magazine’s coveted “Best of Boston” for wedding photography in 1999. Prior to this success, Gigi worked for over seven years in commercial photography assisting several established fashion and portrait photographers in Boston and New York. With her documentary style, de Manio has photographed events throughout the country and internationally, including the Chelsea Clinton/Marc Mezvinsky and Nate Berkus/Jeremiah Brent weddings.
Gigi received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Hollins University in Roanoke, VA, and is a graduate from the Portfolio Center in Atlanta, GA. She lives and works in her home and studio in Carlisle, MA with her husband and three children.
