Master Plan to Convert Patient Rooms
As standards for patient care have advanced, B+MD developed a master plan to convert all Columbia Memorial Hospital’s shared patient rooms into private rooms with toilets. The first phase of this plan was implemented in 2004 with a hospice unit renovation. In 2013, the master plan was updated to reflect the current standards and codes, and was implemented within several units of the hospital.
