Our Legacy
Founded in 1924 by G. Edwin Pidcock, The Pidcock Company has operated continuously since the initial and challenging years of the Great Depression. Edwin Pidcock persevered through those early and difficult years with expanding success and portfolio until his death in 1967. Joining their father and the firm in the early 1950s, John and Ralph Pidcock guided the firm's expansion into a broadening practice of civil engineering and land surveying respectively. Senior Partner John Pidcock's early career experience in Manhattan with suspension bridge design enabled the firm to develop a specialization in bridge and structural design as a complement to its well established practice in traditional civil engineering design. Today, the Pidcock family continues this involvement and tradition extending back to 1924.
Since its earliest days, the firm has maintained an unwavering commitment to the highest quality of work presented with unimpeachable integrity. These core values have been shared by all those in leadership of the firm since its inception. So many extraordinary professionals have devoted their talents and careers to the firm's clients; we take our work very personally.
The tenure and breadth of the firm's practice – which includes projects in twenty eight states – has firmly established its reputation and portfolio of projects within the Middle Atlantic States and most prominently in the Lehigh Valley. We continue to be very proud of the work of those coming before us and look forward to advancing the quality of projects and integrity of practice which represent our heritage.
